Characterization of Biochar Bricks to be used as a Construction Material

Abstract The experimental work on characterization of biochar bricks as a construction material is summarized in this manuscript. This an important topic to research due the dearth knowledge about materials and their potential reduce global warming. Biochar charcoal-like substance formed from organic matter decomposition absence oxygen at high temperatures. use bio char range applications will help cutting down CO 2 emissions, recycling plastic waste, creation more jobs. Current bio-char limited being used Soil additives promote water absorption, plaster absorb humidity, energy alternatives replace fossil fuels. present study attempts characterize for usage construction. Two types were cast compared normal concrete bricks. first set had 70% 30% cement, whereas second contained 45 percent biochar, plastic, 10% cement. characterized using five tests: compressive strength, hardness, flammability, insulation value.
